Blender importing colour issues

Hi all, When I import Blender files into unity I sometimes have issues with colours. The character will look fine yet when I rotate it 90 degrees it goes dark like it has a shadow. I open the file in blender and rotating it all looks fine. Anyone know what I should be looking for? Thanks
